UDHAMPUR, Oct 20: District Development Commissione (DDC) Dr Piyush Singla led a cycle rally here today.
The rally started from DC Office Complex Udhampur and passed through Slathia Chowk, Court road, Ramnagar Chowk, Gole Market, Bus Stand and culminated at Mini Stadium. More than 20 cyclists including officers from CRPF and female riders participated.
At Mini Stadium, female cyclists flagged off rally of male cyclist led by Dr Singla towards Jammu. Rally passed through Chopra Shop, Garhi, Rehamble, Mand, Tikri, Jhajjar Kotli, Katra Domail.
The rally entered Jammu City via Panjthirthi, Dogra Hall, Tawi bridge and culminated at Gole Market Gandhi Nagar.
Dr Jitendra Singh MoS PMO also met these cyclists and interacted with them. He stressed upon the need for Fit India movement and asked all to join the movement for healthy society and to spread noble messages in the society.
