JAMMU, Nov 26: A match between Sainik Colony Football Club and Param FC of Senior Division Football League Tournament, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) was abandoned due to a dispute erupting on a decision over a penalty kick.
After a goalless first half, the players of Sainik Colony Football Club attacked the rivals and demanded a penalty kick when reportedly their players were hideously obstructed by players of opposite team.
After referee Kaushal Sharma denied penalty kick, there was a total confusion and chaos, resulting into interference of public and spectators, which forced the organizers to abandon the match.
According to the organizers, the decision with regard to the match will be taken in the meeting of the jury to be held tomorrow.
