BAJALTA, Feb 28: Dhanu B Super Heroes today defeated Chilla Challengers and Marh Rangers won a match against Surinsar Teachers in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Chilla Challgengers won the toss and elected to bat first and bundled out for 80 runs in stipulated 14 overs.
Dhanu B Super Heroes played well and chased the target in 11 overs after losing 5 wickets.
For his all round performance Wasim was declared man of the match with 23 runs and 2 wickets.
The second match of the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament was played between Marh Rangers and Surinsar Teachers.
Winning the toss Marh Rangers decided to bat first and scored 125 runs setting 126 runs to win for Surinsar Teachers.
Surinsar Teachers scored 113 runs losing all wickets in 14 overs and thus lost the match by 13 runs.
Akbar Ali for his 34 runs and 2 wickets was declared man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman from J&K Youth Services and Sports and Mohammad Gul.
Besides hundreds of cricket lovers from Nagrota and Jammu Sarpanch Surinsar Subash Singh, Sarpanch Bajalta Ch. Rehmat Ali, Jagdish Raj Khajuria, Amjad Beg, Girdhari Lal, Dr. Manzoor and others were present.
Both the matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel and Member Organizing Committee.
