DG Sports flags off State Fencing Contingent

JAMMU, Apr 25: State Contingent in the sports discipline of Fencing (U-14, 17 and 19 boys was flagged off by Navin Agarwal, Director General, Youth Services and Sports for 59th National School Games being held at Jalna, in Maharashtra  from April 28 to April 30, 2014.
The Games are being organized by the Government of Maharashtra in collaboration with School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
The Contingent comprised of 36 players and 3 officials.
While interacting with the players and officials, Mr Agarwal said that sports is integral part of education and serves for delight, for ornament and for agility. The contingent is accompanied by International Fencer, Ujjwal Gupta as coach.
