JAMMU, Dec 6: The match between DFA Samba and SCFA Jammu ended with 1-1 goal draw in the ongoing 15th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, organised by All J&K Sports and Culture Welfare Association at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
The match was decided in a tie-breaker between both the teams.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu was the chief guest of the match who introduced the players of both the teams.
Sarmad was the lone player who scored a goal for SCFA Samba in the 36th minute of the game, while Rahul Katal netted a goal for DFA Samba in the 72 minute of the game.
The match was officiated by Aman Banathia, Aman Sudan, Madhav and Dil Bahadur as referees, while the physio was Mohinder Kalsi.
Prominent persons who witnessed today’s match were David Masis, vice-president, Yousaf Don, organising secretary, Romesh Chander, Charan Dass, Rajesh Kumar, Satpal Singh and others.
