UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Dev-inder Sharma (Munna Thanda) Memorial District Open Table Tennis Championship, organised by District Table Tennis Association Udhampur concluded here today.
On this occasion, Balwant Singh Mankotia, ex-MLA Udhampur and chief patron District Table Tennis Association Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion, while Ved Praksh Sharma, Principal Model Hr Secondary School Udhampur, SHO Udhampur Sanjeev Gupta, Zonal Phyiscal Education Officer Udhampur were the special guests of the occassion.
Earlier, after floral tribute paid to late Devinder Sharma, President District Table Tennis Association Udhampur, Mr Tarun presented the welcome address.
Earlier, in Cadet Cadet boys, Sourav beat Madhav by 3-1; in Sub Junior Boys, Mahi Kailu trounced Harshit Ramotra by 3-2; in Junior Boys,
Sourav Sharma outplayed Abhay Mahajan by 3-2: in Junior Girls, Sonika beat Suhana by 3-2; in Senior boys, Sourav drubbed Sunil Sharma by 3-1; in Senior girls, Purvi Sharma beat Parul Sharma by 3-2.
The matches were officiated by Prikshit Khajuria,Sanjeev Sharma, Mannat arrora, Sunny Sharma, Akhil Bandral and Akash Sharma.
