JAMMU, Dec 24: The Department of Ecology Environment and Remote Sensing (DEERS) orgainsed an awareness programme for the school children of Government High School, Janipur Colony.
On the occasion a painting competition was conducted wherein the first position was shared by Karan Sharma and Aafreen Akhtar, second position was also shared by Deepak Kumar and Aatish Kumar and third award was picked up by Nitish Gupta and Nandni Gupta.
G D Chalotra, IFS Regional Director, Department of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing, Jammu was the chief guest. The school staff of Government High School, Janipur Colony including Headmaster Mrs Raj Rani participated in the awareness camp.
