SRINAGAR, Dec 12: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary along with SSP Bandipora Sheikh Zulafkar Azad inaugurated 9th District Wushu Championship at Ajas in District Bandipora.
Around 230 boys and girls from various clubs of Bandipore took part in the event, which was organised by Wushu Association of Bandipora and sponsored by Ali’s Sports Academy.
While speaking, DDC Bandipora said that it is good to conduct such kind of district level events here at Ajas as it will help to flourish Wushu game in this area also.
President Olympic Association Bandipora Arsullah Habib and Chairman Ali’s Sports Academy Fasil Ali were also present on the occasion.
