UDHAMPUR, July 25: A camp for disbursement of stipend to mainstreamed students of National Child Labour Project schools, district Udhampur was held at District Development Commissioner’s Office, here today.
District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal, who is also the chairman of National Child Labour Project (NCLP) Udhampur, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Programme was organized by Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
DDC distributed passbooks among 47 students studying in 11 different NCLP Schools of Udhampur district.
On the occasion, she appreciated the project director, NCLP and staff of the schools for their efforts for running such type of schools in the district.
She directed the Project Director NCLP to not compromise with the quality of education among the students.
Programme was attended by Joint Director, Planning, Rakesh Jamwal , Project Director, NCLP Udhampur, R P Chowdhary, staff and students of the NCLP schools.
