JAMMU, Apr 13: Danish Sharma, a National Referee and Coach from Jammu & Kashmir, has been appointed as a Technical Official for the 69th National School Games 2025-26 in the discipline of Kalarippayattu.
The appointment has been made by the Indian Kalarippayattu Federation, which is recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, and the School Games Federation of India.
The prestigious National School Games are scheduled to be held in New Delhi from April 15 to 19 and will witness participation from top school athletes across the country.
According to the official communication, Sharma is among a select group of technical officials deputed from various states to ensure the smooth and standardized conduct of competitions. In his role, he will oversee match proceedings and ensure adherence to rules while maintaining the spirit of fair play and discipline.
The achievement has brought pride to Jammu & Kashmir and is expected to inspire budding athletes and sports enthusiasts in the region.
