JAMMU, Oct 18: A dancing and singing competition titled “J&K Rockers” was held under the banner of The Performers and powered by 999 Productions at Abhinav Theatre, here today.
A total of 25 participants who were selected after the prelims audition held at Udhampur, Samba Vijaypur, Wave Mall, Akhnoor and 999 Fitness Club exhibited their talents.
On the occasion, Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly was the chief guest, who inaugurated the competition by lighting the ceremonial lamp along with Anjali Sharma, Director, Door Darshan, who presided over the function.
The judges of the finale were Urja Singh, Dharmesh Nargotra and Gurpreet Singh, Sound Recordist Mumbai.
In Dancing, Sanket adjudged as winner, where as second and third positions were clinched by Damani, Akash and Krishna.
In Singing, Sushmita Banerjee clinched first position, whereas second and third positions were secured by Karan and Sukriti respectively.
Later, trophies were presented to positions holders vis-à-vis participants.
The show was ably and energetically anchored by renowned actor Kusum Tickoo.
