JAMMU, Nov 10: A cultural programme was organised at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur on the fifth day of the 6-days annual “Vertical Interaction Course” on “Tactical Preparedness for Counter Terrorism” sponsored by Bureau of Police Research and Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Trainees and “Chhona Hai Aasman” artists performed during the function and enthralled the audience.
In the one and half hour show the artists displayed their skills in mono acting, comedy skits and sang hit songs of movies.
The audience which among others included Farooq Khan, IGP Director SKPA Udhampur and Parminder Singh, DIG, Jt Director SKPAU witnessed and appreciated the effort undertaken by the artists.
The Director Academy while addressing the gathering at the end of the function emphasised on the role of culture and music in our day today life and ensured the trainees/officers that such activities will be part of the academy curriculum.
The programme was anchored by Manzar Khyam Sr PO and assisted by Burhan-ul-Haq and Suganda Mahajan Prob (Trainee) DySP.
