Cross Swords Division organizes National Integration Tour

JAMMU, Feb 3: A National Integration Tour was flagged off by the Crossed Sword Division today from Rakhmuthi Military Station.
Flagging off ceremony was attended by students of Government Middle/Primary School Chak Bhagwana, Government Middle School, Rakh Malal and Government High School, Chak Malal alongwith their parents and teachers.
The tour comprised of 22 students and 3 teachers from Government Middle/Primary School Chak Bhagwana, Government Middle School Rakh Malal and Government High School Chak Malal. They are being accompanied by a team from the Army.
The aim of the tour is to provide an opportunity to students from border areas to visit the national capital and other places of interest. As part of the tour they will visit Jalandhar, Delhi and Jaipur.
Apart from operational duties, the Indian Army is also committed to win the hearts and minds of local population by addressing their core problems and thus contributing towards overall development.
This National Integration Tour is a step by the Indian Army in an effort to increasing the awareness of the students of J&K on the rich culture and values of other States of India. Students aged between 14 to 19 part of the tour, with this exposure, are bound to have an everlasting impression in their minds forever.
