SRINAGAR, Sept 9: CMS Biscoe School defeated Friends Club Pulwama in a close contest by seven goals to six (7-6) via tie-breaker in the ongoing District Srinagar Senior Hockey Tournament, being organised by Hockey J&K and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council at Polo ground, here.
In the stipulated time, both the teams scored 3 goals each, while in the tie-breaker Biscoe School scored 4 goals and Friends Club netted 3 goals.
MM Mir, retired Physical Director was the chief guest on the occasion, while Gurdial Singh was the guest of honour.
The official present on the occasion were Gurdeep Singh, Rafiq Baba, Avtar Singh and Mohd Amir, while the matches are being played under the supervision of RGN Wani, organising secretary.
