JAMMU, Dec 5: Clemart Football Club defeated Kartar Football Club Samba by five goals to four (5-4) via tie-breaker in the ongoing 13th Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
It was a tough contest between the players of both the teams in the stipulated time, thus was match was decided via tie-breaker, wherein Clemart Club emerged winner.
The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Ricky Kumar, Rahul Ghai and Aman.
Prominent among those who witnessed the match included SM Gill, David Masih, Yusuf Don, Feastus Sotra, Narinder Gupta, Krishan Lal, Harbans Lal, Mohan Lal and Rattan Lal.
There will be no matches played tomorrow, in the fixture of December 7, 2019, NGR will take on Young Rovers at 1 pm, while JK Bank Academy will lock horns with Sainik Colony FC at 3 pm.
