JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, June 21: City Boys Blue Bhaderwah and Shining Star Cricket Club registered comprehensive victories over their rivals in the ongoing JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament, being played at different venues across the State.
The tournament is being held under the patronage of Justice CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA, Chairmanship of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari and under the overall supervision of Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member JKCA and Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission.
At Bhaderwah, City Boys Blue Bhaderwah crushed Young Star by a big margin of 130 runs. Batting first, City Boys scored a good total of 279 runs in 34 overs, while in reply, Young Star bundled out for 149 runs. Nittan was the star performer who scored a fabulous century (134 runs), which fetched him man of the match award.
At Jammu, Shining Star defeated United Cricket Club by 3 wickets.
Batting first, United Cricket Club scored 205 runs in 30 overs. Nitin was the top scorer with 84 runs, while Rohit contributed 50 runs to the total. For Shining Star, Rahul took 3 wickets while Naresh and Manish claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Shinning Star chased the target by losing 7 wicket to win the match by 3 wickets. Raj was the top scorer with 59 runs while Ajay and Rahul contributed 20 runs each. From United Cricket Club, Gagandeep Singh took 4 wickets, while Nitin and Irfan claimed one wicket each. The match was officiated by Ashok Singh, Rahul Kumar and Sadiq Hussain Malik.
