JAMMU, Aug 5: Final match of Channi Himmat Cricket League (CHCL)  2014 was played today at Sector 2 Channi Himmat Jammu. The final match was held between Khalsa Cricket Club Preet Nagar and Choudhary Cricket Club Channi Rama.
Ram Paul Sharma eminent Social worker of Channi Himmat was the chief guest on the occasion while Ranjeet Singh was the guest of honour and Rajni Sharma Principal, U P Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat presided over the prize distribution function.
Khalsa Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. KCC made 127 runs in 12 overs.
In reply, Choudhary Cricket Club was all out for 95 runs, thus lost the match by 31 runs. Aman was declared man of the series.
Chief guest and other dignitaries spoke on the occasion and lavished praise for the organizers for holding the event.
Arjun Singh Charak, one of the organizers while speaking on the occasion said that 64 teams from different parts of Jammu province took part in the (CHCL)  2014.
A cash prize of Rs15000 was given to the winners and Rs 6000 to the runners-up team.
The organizers included Arjun Singh Charak, Narinder Singh Charak, Bhagwan Singh, Khushwinder Singh and Kulwant Singh Charak, who were also present on the occasion.
