Chhatru Kabaddi League concludes

KISHTWAR, Dec 18: Chhatru Kabaddi League was organized by Army at Chhatru, here today.
A total of 15 teams of Kishtwar participated in the event wherein players displayed their high level of competitive spirit which was organized by the Army to reaffirm its commitment towards fostering peace and also to provide an impetus to the sporting talents in the region.
The Army officials applauded the participants for showing grit and determination of highest standards and also encouraged them to practice and excel in all such events in future.
The final match was played between Maliknar and Palmar in the youth category wherein Maliknar defeated Palmar in a close contest, while the final match of mini category was played between Dadeth and Chatroo in which Dadpeth emerged winners and Khariyan trounced Mughal Maidan in girl’s category.
At the end, the winners and runners-up teams were awarded with the trophies and cash prizes.
Ten best players of each category have been registered for the District Kishtwar Kabaddi team and Kabaddi Sports Association J&K.
