JAMMU, Nov 4: J&K Grameen felicitated Kritika Khanna, an eminent officer of the bank who has become the first female Para-Rower to bring laurels to the nation.
She has recently contested Asian Para-Rowing Championship-2019 held at Cheongju, South Korea. She represented India in team event designated as PR3Mix4+ and team India won Bronze medal, the first ever medal in para-rowing for the country.
During the felicitation ceremony, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank Janak Raj Angural presented her a memento of achievement and was overwhelmed during the moment due to her exemplary contribution towards the country. He apprised the gathering that Kritika, being a highly dexterous personality and vibrant banker is enriched with a combination of positivity and creativity.
“She has always been an epitome of strength to everyone around and has never considered her amputation as her weakness. It is a matter of pride and the bank is highly opportunistic to have such a gem among the workforce”, Angural added.
He further said that the bank has always been and will always be in support of such talented employees, who leave no stone unturned to achieve their dreams.
General Manager J&K Grameen Bank, DK Bali told that besides being a sportsperson, she is one of the finest painter, tattoo maker and a master in paper origami as well.
All the HODs were also present during the function.
