Chain Singh is source of inspiration for budding shooters: Rana

JAMMU Apr 8: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana today felicitated Chain Singh for winning the Gold medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions men’s team event of the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi recently.
Chain Singh, son of the soil, has distinguished himself in the shooting discipline for winning 96 medals in the national, international and other events over the years played around the world. These include 19 medals in the international, 52 in the national and 25 in other events.
Congratulating Chain Singh for his exceptional performance in shooting competitions, Mr Rana said he has made Jammu and Kashmir proud. He hoped Mr Singh would continue his winning spree in events to come at the national and international level.
“This is source of inspiration for the upcoming sportspersons in the shooting discipline in particular and other games in general that sky’s the limit for those who aim high and work hard”, Mr Rana said adding that Jammu has traversed a long way over the years with its youth making big mark in every sphere of activity-art, sports, academics and culture. He said the young man’s win is yet another feather in the saga of successes Jammu is credited with.
“There nothing to look back for young achievers, as sky is the limit for their talent”, Mr Rana said, hoping Chain Singh to concentrate on the sport he has excelled in. He wished him all the success in her future endeavours, saying success is a real tribute to those who give their best to the chosen field of activity.
