JAMMU, May 9: Carrom Tournament, being organized by Bus Stand Police Station under Civic Action Programme (CAP) got underway at JDA Hall, U Market, Bus Stand, here.
SP City, Dr Vinod Kumar was the chief guest on the opening ceremony, who declared the championship open in an impressive function.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest encouraged the young players and advised them to give their best and play with sporting spirit.
SDPO City Varun Jandial, Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia, SHO Police Station Bus Stand were present on the occasion.
A total of 27 players took part in various age categories.
