JAMMU, Jan 28: Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association today selected 16 members carrom team (Men and Women) for upcoming 48th Senior National and Interstate Carrom Championship which is scheduled to be held at Jalgaon, Maharashtra from February 2 to 6.
The players were selected by selection committee of the J&K Carrom Association, headed by Mudasir Khan, President of the association and Adil Rashid Shah, Arif Sultan were also part of screening team.
The players were selected on the basis of their performance in the recently held Open Carrom Championship at Islamia College, Hawal Srinagar on January 22 and 23, 2020.
In men team, the selected players are Furqan Nazir, Adnan Yaseen, Ajaz Ahmad, Irfan, Faizan Mehraj, Waseem Bashir, Irshad Ali, Md Yaqoob, Shakir Shah, Ragav Verma, Ankush Sharma and Md Saad.
In women team, the selected players are Adfar, Zainab, Aqsa and Faleen.
