JAMMU, May 21: The Calliope School, Doomi organized a fancy dress competition on the topic ‘Mother’.
22 students of the School participated in the competition and showcased their skills by wearing different costumes and performing as a ‘Mother’.
In the junior group, Malvika of Class 1st bagged the first prize while Priyanka remained winner in the senior group.
Speaking on the occasion, School Principal said mother is the first angel sent by the God on earth.
Emphasizing on the importance and role of mother in one’s life, she said that mother is one who sacrificed her nights to make us sleep peacefully and comfortably,” she said.
School teacher Preety Kohli, who was in-charge of the event also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the role of mother.
Large number of teachers and students of the school were present on the occasion.
