JAMMU, Nov 30: In its continuation to its reach to civil border population and to encourage youth to join Force, 137 Battalion BSF organized Half Marathon-‘Run for Unity’, under Civic Action Programme in commemoration of BSF Raising Day, today.
Over 300 individuals from bordering villages, BSF families and Jawans participated in the event.
The Flag Off Ceremony was done by Bhupinder Singh, Commandant 87 Battalion BSF in presence of K Ganesh, 137 Bn BSF.
T -shirts and Caps were distributed among the participants.
A separate 2 kilometer run was also organized for women and children.
