RAJOURI, Oct 18: Commander 93 Brigade, NS Brar flagged off Trans Pir Panjal Trekking, under the aegis of Rajouri based ‘Ace of Spades Division’, 5/4 Gorkha Rifles, here today.
According to the organizers, the Expedition will cover a distance of 165.5 kilometers over a period of 12 days.
The Expedition aims at developing a spirit of adventure and leadership traits amongst the participants, besides facilitating the participants to understand the varied terrain of Jammu and Kashmir and also spread the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan amongst the locals en-route.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Brar exhorted the Expedition members to experience the picturesque terrain of J&K and exploit the opportunity to interact with the locals, develop a bond of friendship and learn the rich culture and traditions of this beautiful State.
