BLSKS stages ‘Tandursti Lakh Niyamat’

JAMMU, May 19: To observe the World Aids Vaccine Day and to promote the traditional rich culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged its 209th Saturday Series Musical Play ‘Tandursti  Lakh Niyamat’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education at open air theatre Durga Bhawan Janipur, here today.
The programe was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government, while Dr AC Bhagat, Former Chief Officer Department of Animal Husbandry, J&K Government, VK Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, RP Amla, Event Director were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest highlighted the importance of World AIDS Vaccine Day.
The Programe commenced with the songs included ‘Jaan Jaan Mada Aids Rog Jaan’, ‘Kailyan Kawan Weh laeyie Saneda ja’, ‘Roko Roko Aids gi roko’, ‘Kariye Na  Wada kisi se kariye Na’, ‘Laga Gran Sade setu da mela”, ‘Chota parivar Sukhi Parivar’  and the music of the play was composed by Music Teacher Raju Bajgal.
Writer, producer and director of the play ML Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) said that the aim of the play was to make the people aware of the dreaded disease AIDS.
Earlier, MC Kotwal, General Secretary BLSKS presented welcome address.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were KK Joshi, MC Kotwal,  Rajni Gupta,  Raju Bajgal, Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit,  Bindiya Arora, Kuldeep Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Vansh Raina, Megha Raina, Bhumika Chib, Neelam  Chib,  Sparsh Sharma, Sakshi Kumari, Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Maitali, Gurdeep, Azeen, Mitali, Bindia Arora, Shiv Kumar, Darshan Rajwal, Sawan Koul, Nishash, Gurbir Singh, Anshu and Renu Saproo.
Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
