Bhoomi stages Capt Maharaj’s ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’

JAMMU, Mar 31: J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society staged a Kashmiri Play ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’ at Abhinav Theatre here today.
A galaxy of Kashmiri Pandit artists displayed extraordinary artistic skills in the play.
The story of renowned artist Captain Maharaj’s play ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’, the slogan that has smacked our minds from the times immemorial, stresses on the need to infuse the national spirit among the younger generations to keep the pillars of secular India erect and make India strong.
Renowned Kashmiri artists namely JK Koul (Baizaan), Kamal Razdan, Rani Bhan, Daizy Bazaz, Vinay Pandita, Rahul Pandita, Prianka, Vijay Raina, Ajay Waguzari and Capt Maharaj showed composure and class in their art.
Make up by Pinto, Lights by Pankaj and Ramesh, while Rajesh Khar was the Music Director.
The Play was directed by Jitender Jotshi, while Bimal Ji Wantoo was the Production Head and Susheel Bhat was the organiser.
MLC Ajay Bharti was the chief guest on the occasion, who lauded the efforts of the artists for their splendid show and honoured them with mementoes and other awards on the occasion.
The chief guest was accompanied by a galaxy of guests of honour including Kiran Wattal, ML Raina, Rakesh Koul, Virender Kuchroo and Sanjay Baru.
Chairman J&K BHWS, Vijay Raina presented vote of thanks.
