Bhajan Sandhya held at GD Goenka

JAMMU, Feb 8: Bhajan Sandhya was organized at GD Goenka Public School for the grandparents of the students studying in the school.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by Suman Bansal, Director, Sanya Bansal, Principal, Jyoti Asija and Vice-Principal Dr Subrato Kundu.
On the occasion, the students presented a dance portraying the different avtaars of Krishna. Tanishka Tickoo presented the ‘Raag Bihag’. Blessings of Lord Rama were invoked by the spiritual rendition ‘Hey Raam’ which was sung by Tushar.
The school choir soulfully delivered ‘Kabhi Ram Banke’. Dhanya of class I sung the bhajan ‘Yashomati Maiya’ in praise of Lord Krishna. Sanviti moved the audience with ‘Kar Man Jay Jay Kaar’. Shweta and Sunil sung ‘Hey Prabhu’. No matter how dark the clouds are, we see the silver lining when we place our faith in the Supreme Power. These feelings were brought forth by Stanzin, Mohsina and school choir.
Arman sought the intercession of Shirdi Wale Sai Baba and Shivani praised the Lord for His benign presence. The maestro, Dorjee himself delivered ‘Prabhu Tum Ek’ at the conclusion of the evening.
In the end, Principal Jyoti Asija presented vote of thanks.
