JAMMU, July 15: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association is organizing a Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship on July 17, 2015 at Fitness Gym, Pacca Danga, Jammu for further selection and formation of Indian Team to participate in the Asian Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship to be held at Muscat in Oman from September 30 to October 6, 2015.
According to a handout issued here the body weight will be held on July 16 from 11 am to 12-30 pm.
The decision with regard to holding of the Championship was taken in a meeting headed by general secretary of the Association Rajan Jain and attended by Rakesh Kumar, joint secretary, Narinder Singh Manhas, secretary, Narinder Pal Singh, publicity secretary and Preet Dutta, joint secretary.
