BCA outclasses Budding Stars by 86 runs, enters next stage

JAMMU, Aug 28: Bhatia Cricket Academy (BCA) outclassed Budding Stars by a huge margin of 86 runs and entered into the next round of the ongoing Bhatia Cricket League Under-15, being played at Cantt Cricket ground, Satwari, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, BCA scored 194 runs for the loss of 3 wickers in allotted 25 overs. Abhishek Motten played a splendid inning of 87 runs off 58 balls including eight boundaries and five sixes, while Anil made 63 runs with eight balls towards the fence and Kartik chipped in 13 runs.
From Budding Stars side, Abrar scalped 2 wickets, while Aditpal took one wicket.
In the second inning, Budding Stars failed to chase the target and collapsed at 108 runs by losing all wickets in 21.1 overs. Musaif was the top scorer with 54 runs off 45 balls including seven boundaries, while Abrar and Achit made 13 and 11 runs respectively.
From BCA side, Hanzala and Kartik scalped 3 wickets each, while Gitansh took 2 wickets and Ramnit clinched one wicket.
Abhishek Motten of BCA was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Purshotam and Shivam as umpires, while Govind maintained the scoreboard.
