JAMMU, Apr 15: The J&K Basketball Association will conduct trials to select the Union Territory junior men’s and women’s basketball teams on April 27 and 28 at the Basketball Arena, MA Stadium Jammu, at 4:30 pm on both days.
The selected teams will represent the Union Territory in the 76th Junior National Basketball Championships, organized by the Basketball Federation of India at Puducherry from May 22 to 29, 2026.
Shortlisted probables will undergo a pre-competition coaching camp at the same venue, subject to approval from the J&K Sports Council.
Players born on or after January 1, 2008 are eligible to participate in the trials. All participants have been directed to bring original date of birth certificates issued by civic authorities along with Aadhaar cards for verification.
The association has urged eligible players from across the Union Territory to attend the trials on time and make use of the opportunity to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the national level.
