UDHAMPUR, July 29: Wrestler Babu Din of Ramnagar defeated Varun Sharma of Manwal in the main bout to lift the Udhampur District Indian Style Wrestling Championship which concluded at Roun Domail, here today.
Around 70 wrestlers drawn from different tehsils of Udhampur took part in the Championship.
SP Suram Singh was the chief guest, while Shrinivas Sharma and Yash Paul were the guests of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Varinder Kumar, Dharam Singh, Om Parkash, Vijju Pahalwan, Amar Singh and Benia Pahalwan.
