JAMMU, May 28: Ankur Vidyalaya Public High School (AVPHS) Jawahar Nagar, New Plots, Jammu celebrated its Annual Day and Prize distribution function with pomp and show in the school premises, here today.
On this occasion, Prof Hempal Singh Principal (retired) Higher Education Department was the chief guest, while Prof BL Kaul chairman of the School presided over.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students of the school, which was enjoyed by the audience. Students also exhibited self defence techniques to a great applause .
On this occasion prizes and certificates were distributed to the students. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the academic, sports and cultural performance of the students.
Prof Kaul in his speech exhorted the students to work hard and keep the flag of their school flying high.
