JAMMU, Nov 22: Yasmeen Akhtar of Jammu bagged 100 mtr sprint gold in Undewr-14 girls, while the gold medal in Under-17 and Under-19 girls went to Roshan Bibi and Aditya Uppal of Jammu in the State Level Inter-Division Athletic Meet, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Aggarwal, here.
60 girls drawn for both the divisions participated in the event, which is being held under chairmanship of Ved Prakash, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu and under the supervision of Tirath Ram, DYSSO, Jammu.
Apart from sprint races, the female athletes were vying for top honours in 400 mtrs, 800 mtrs and other races, apart from jumping and throwing events.
