JAMMU, Jan 22: Ateev Saini, Amritpal Singh and Sahil Lotra scored brilliant half-centuries to help KC Sports Club to thrash Shastri Cricket Club by a big margin of 64 runs in a high scoring match of the ongoing KC Sports Club T20 Cup, being played at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, KCSC winning the toss and batting first, scored a huge total of 232 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Ateev Saini and Amritpal Singh scored 71 runs each, while Sahil Lotra contributed brilliant 63 runs. All the three batsmen played with fluidity and grace and sent the rival bowlers on a leather-hunt by hitting series of boundaries and sixes. For Shastri Cricket Club, Varun took 2 wickets, while Vicky claimed 1 wicket.
Shastri Cricket Club, in reply, managed to score168 runs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 64 runs. Arvind and Decker contributed 24 and 17 runs respectively. For KCSC, Ramandeep Singh took 3 wickets, Shubam Pundir bagged 2, while skipper Arjun Choudhary and Rohan took one wicket each. Ateev Saini of KCSC was declared as man of the match.
