SRINAGAR, Nov 27: Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Naseem Javaid Choudhary along with the Engineering staff today inspected various on-going works of the council.
The Secretary inspected the playfield at Beehama and Madr-i-Mehrabaan Stadium at Ganderbal. He directed the concerned to speed up the pace of work on these projects. He also inspected the Indoor Sports Hall at Shadipora, Bandipora and took stock of the on-going work of Indoor Sports Hall which is nearing completion and would be inaugurated shortly.
The Secretary also reviewed the renovation work of Saif-Ud-Din Club at SKICC, Srinagar-directing the concerned for early completion of the project. He also visited the Women’s College, Zakura.
While inspecting the on-going work for construction of Indoor Sports Hall at Budgam, the Secretary impressed to speed up the pace of work and directed to complete the project in the stipulated time period.
The Secretary-led team further took stock of various works and preparations being made at Astro-turf Football stadium, TRC ground Srinagar.
He said that the Council was aiming to complete all the related works as the J&K Sports Council is going to host the forthcoming I-League Football tournament at the stadium soon.
