REASI, May 14: Defeating Reasi zone by 3 points in the summit clash with the final scores of (40-37), Arnas zone claimed Under-17 girls kabaddi title in the District Level Inter-Zonal Tournaments for Under-14 and Under-17 girls, which got underway at Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
In kabaddi Under-17 girls final, Reasi Zone beat Arnas zone by 9 points with the score of (26-17).
Meanwhile, in kho-kho Under-14 girls final, Reasi zone defeated its rival by 10 points with the score of 18-08 to clinch the title trophy, while in kho-kho-17 girls final, Reasi got better of Arnas by 8 points with the score of (15-07) to win the title.
The Tournament is being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the overall supervision of Dr Swaran Singh Chib, DYSSO Reasi.
The competitions were inaugurated by Palwinder Kour, District Information Officer Reasi and Megha, Assistant Director Planning, Reasi.
Earlier, Dr Swaran Singh Chib presented the welcome address, while M M Khajuria, Principal BHSS Reasi presented vote of thanks.
