Army Public School Damana celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 7: Army Public School Damana celebrated Annual Day on the theme ‘Didactic Renaissance: Revival of Art And Culture In Academics’ with enthusiasm and fervour.
Brig KK Singh, Chairman of the school was the chief guest.
The function, which was declared open by the chief guest and the Principal with lighting of the traditional lamp, was attended by a large number of VIPs, Army and civil officers, Principals of different schools, parents, students and other guests.
It was followed by the presentation of the school annual report by Pushpinder Kaur, Principal of the School by highlighting the academic achievements and all round development of the school through quality education, use of technological innovations, counselling sessions and development of communicative skills.
The school students attired in colourful costumes presented a wonderful cultural programme which mesmerized the audience.
Among many items displayed by the students, the main attractions were Unmukt Bachpan – lambs of Jesus Christ, a wonderful presentation by tiny tots of class I & II.
The chief guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious students and achievers. The prizes were given to the academic toppers of Class XII and X, best student of the year, best achievers in inter school competitions, international and national level competitions and in sports category. The chief guest also released the Annual School Magazine’ PRAIRNA’ on this occasion.
The vote of thanks was presented by Shallu Kapoor, Vice Principal of the school.
