BANDIPORA, Feb 15: In a unique initiative and keeping in mind the importance of culture, Army is organizing a ‘Bhand Pather’ (Kashmiri folk singing) competition which will be judged by the prominent personalities of the district.
The other events include painting, singing and dancing competitions for which registration and auditions have already commenced.
Auditions for the first day were held at Bagh Bandipora’s Higher Secondary School.
Children and parents not only from the town but also from nearby villages were seen participating in the event in large numbers.
A final mega event named ‘Bandipora’s Got Talent’ will be held at Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium soon. The event will have large number of items as part of it.
