BHADERWAH, Dec 27: Continuing its efforts for upliftment of local youths by providing them opportunity to showcase their skill and promoting youth development, the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah, under Delta Force organised ‘T-20 Cricket Tournament’, which concluded at Shankhoja, here today.
The final match of the Tournament was played today between Shikari Brothers (Chinote) and Shankhoja Eleven. Shikari Brothers (Chinote) won the match by 122 runs. The winner and runners-up teams were felicitated with trophies and medals by Rashtriya Rifles at Bhaderwah.
16 teams drawn from Bhaderwah and adjoining areas participated in the Tournament.
The matches were played on league-cum-knockout basis.
Various teams from Shankhoja, Tapri, Mathola, Benzila, Haliya, Chinote, Dhara and nearby villages participated in the tournament with true spirit of sportsmanship.
Pyar Chand, Sarpach of Shankoja had inaugurated the event earlier in presence of local villagers.
