J&K’s Akbar Khan wins gold in National Road Cycling C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 27: J&K cyclist Mohd. Akbar Khan won gold medal in Indian Made Cycle Race (20 Km Race) at 19th National Road Cycling Championship, conducted by Cycling Federation of India at Jamakhandi, in Karnataka, today.
The State team is being accompanied by Mushtaq Ahmed; joint secretary Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association (Kashmir Province) and NIS Cycling coach, Rahul Kumar.
Dr Ashutosh Sharma, general secretary, J&K Olympic Association; S. Ravinder Singh, president J&K Cycling Association; Om Parkash, general secretary J&K Cycling Association and Ravi Salgotra, treasurer, J&K Cycling Association have lauded the efforts of the cyclist for this outstanding achievement.
