UDHAMPUR, July 25: A three-day summer camp has been organized by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion at Kalal under the aegis of Uniform Force Headquarters based at Reasi for over 70 children of the remote villages of Deeing, Seri and Dabbar of Naushera tehsil.
The summer camp promises three days full of adventure, fun and unique experience with trekking, horse riding, treasure hunt, painting and parasailing in the beautiful locales of Kalal while giving them an opportunity to discover new interests and create memories of a lifetime.
Speaking on the occasion, Army officials said that technological distractions like mobile phone, television and video games have made it difficult for children to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The summer camp in such circumstances provides the children an opportunity to learn about nature, take new responsibilities and develop social skills.
