Srinagar, May 5: In its efforts to connect with and simulate the young minds of future generation, Army today said it organised a drawing competition for students of Oakland International Middle School Devipura in South Kashmir.
A defence spokesman said the painting competition was conducted with the theme of ‘Progressive Kashmir’ and it provided an excellent opportunity to students to apply their imagination and show their creative side.
“The participating children played their part and came up with beautiful pieces of art, thus drawing their vision of a modern and well developed State.
The competition ended with prize distribution for the winners, with consolation prizes among all participants. The children were overjoyed to participate in such a creative event,” he added.
