RAMBAN, July 6: To inculcate the spirit of physical fitness amongst students and break away from the monotonous everyday routine, the Global Convent School, Champa, Batote, assisted by Indian Army organised ‘Run for Fun’ event, here.
During the event, Army assisted the organisers by controlling the traffic en-route and provided ambulance for any unforeseen medical emergency. A total of 45 students of the school under different categories and age groups participated in this event and exuded great zeal and enthusiasm.
The Army officials provided the participants with refreshments which was appreciated by the organisers.
The event was aimed at spreading awareness amongst students regarding maintaining a healthier lifestyle through regular exercise. Efforts of the Army were appreciated by the school and the parents as well.
