KISHTWAR, Mar 23: Army in its persistent efforts to foster harmony and peace in the region conducted Carrom Competition at Kuchhal, here today.
A total of 57 students took part in the event.
The final of the competition was played between Mubina Banoo and Irshta Banoo, in which former emerged winner.
The winner and the runners-up were awarded by the Army officials on the occasion.
The competition provided an opportunity for the children and soldiers to connect and share light-hearted banter in a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere.
This event was a reflection of existing bonhomie between local populace and the Army.
Local populace and School children as always appreciated the efforts of Army towards providing such opportunities which are helpful in their all-round development.
