JAMMU, Nov 23: Staff Officer to Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K, MY Kichloo, SSP today flagged off a group of 46 players of Volleyball, Basketball and Handball to participate in 65th All India Police Volleyball Cluster-2016.
The flag off ceremony was organized here at  Gulshan Ground.
The five-day long Volleyball Cluster is being organized by Andhra Pradesh Police at Vishakapatnam from November 28, 2016 to December 2, 2016. The teams shall leave for Andhra Pradesh on November 24, 2016.
The Volleyball Team, Basketball Team and Handball Teams are participating in the said event under the supervision of coaches namely   Inspector Sajad Hussain, SI (S) Rohit Chibber and SI Dheeraj Nagpal  respectively.
J&K Police has been participating in all such sporting events which are organised in different States of the country under the auspices of all India Police Sports Control Board.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kichloo briefed the participating teams to maintain the decorum and spirit of the game in the event and to uphold the sanctity of sportsmanship.
He also conveyed to  the participating teams that ADGP Armed J&K L. Mohanti, has assured that J&K Police will provide all required support to participating teams for their successful participation in the event.
Staff Officer wished the participating teams best of luck for their successful participation in the 65th All India Police Volleyball Cluster-2016.
The flagg off ceremony, among others, was attended by Junaid Wali, DySP (Pers) APHQ and   Jigmet  Lhundup,  DySP (Sports) APHQ J&K.
