JAMMU, Feb 9: ARC Hospitality Institute, Gandhi Nagar Jammu held a certification programme here today. Joint Director of Tourism, Jammu Sunaina Sharma Mehta was chief guest on the occasion who awarded certificates among students.
ARC Hospitality Institute, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, a leading private hospitality institute affiliated with THSC (Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council) announced the graduation of its first batch of Culinary Arts students who aim to become professional chefs.
The certification equipped these students to start their own cloud kitchens, cafes, and restaurants or secure jobs in the top hotel brands all over India or abroad. It also helps those students who are going abroad to secure part-time jobs in the hotel industry with the NSQF-Level 4 certificates.
The statement of the institute said through rigorous training in global cuisines (Indian, Pan-Asian, Italian, and Mediterranean), hands-on experience, and industry-relevant curriculum, the institute has nurtured a number of aspiring hospitality professionals equipped to excel in today’s dynamic and competitive landscape.
As part of their course, the students were taken for industrial visits where they got hands-on insight into the commercial kitchens of hotels or restaurants. They also interacted with senior professionals who have excelled in their respective departments of the hospitality industry.
ARC Hospitality Institute offers a range of Government certified programs such as culinary arts, bakery arts; housekeeping, front office, and F&B service associate courses which are open to students with minimum qualifications such as 10th pass.
Chitwan Khorana and Gurmehar Sethi (partners) started the institute with passion about contributing to the field of hospitality and imparting necessary skills and employment opportunities to youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
