JAMMU, Aug 22: A five days long Army Public School Inter APS Cluster-I Boys Football Championship concluded here today in which APS Kaluchak clinched the trophy.
championship was organised by Army Public School Miran Sahib from 18 to 22 August in which Brigadier SF Ahmad, Chairman Army Public School, Ratnuchak, Deputy Commandant Colonel Devwrat Shektawat, Colonel Subhodeep Ghosh, CO 10 Assam and Lt Col Rahul Vyas, SO to Chairman APS Miran Sahib, were among the special guests.
There were eight Army Public Schools such as APS Jammu Cantt, APS Damana, APS Ratnuchak, APS BD Bari, APS Kaluchak , APS Samba, APS Sunjwan and APS Miran Sahib who participated in the championship.
It was a neck to neck fight in the final match between Army Public School, Kaluchak and Army Public School, Jammu Cantt in which the students of APS Kaluchak proved their tenacity by registering a 2-1 victory over APS Jammu Cantt. The players and referees were felicitated by the chief guest.
Ritu Sharma, Principal Army Public School, Miran Sahib enthused the players by postulating that one can’t let the highs make one feel over confident nor can one let the loss be a reason to dampen one’s spirit.
