JAMMU, Feb 14: Anshul Chachra, Regional President, Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), Northern Command visited Army Goodwill Public School Rajouri, today.
She was received by Army Officials, Principal, Kamal Zamani and the head boy and head girl of the school.
A short cultural programme was organized at Army Goodwill Public School and the event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Anshul Chachra and the Principal Kamal Zamani, followed by colorful cultural programmes including spiritual salutation dance, medley of patriotic songs by the school choir and dance drama on social stigma with regard to a girl child in Indian society.
While presenting vote of thanks, the Principal highlighted the achievements of the school on the academic and co-curricular front.
On the occasion, Mrs Anshul presented LED TV for girls’ hostel and many books for school library.
