HIRANAGAR, Dec 8: Kendriya Vidyalaya Hiranagar, Kathua celebrated Annual Sports Day with zeal and zest with dazzling and daredevil display of sport exercises and drill displays by the students, here.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Nitin Dev, Principal KV Hiranagar and administering of oath by the students.
The events filled in the hearts of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The event included Intra-Class Race Competition, Inter-House Volleyball match by the students.
Prizes and Certificates were awarded to the winners.
The chief guest, Nitin Dev gave away the medals and certificates to the winners and applauded with great pride. He advised the students to excel in academics on par with games and sports. The pique of the show was the announcement for the House Trophy winner. All the students cheered for their respective houses and the winner was Raman House.
